This smoky, character-filled tea hails from China’s Fujian province. Our version has been sourced from producers who still make it the traditional way - smoke-cured over cypress and pine needles. The result is an incredibly distinctive tea with a highly unique aroma and a delightfully distinctive cedar wood, cigar box finish.

Enjoy:  All day, with a spicy meal.

Brewing:  Pour water just off the boil over one heaped teaspoon of leaf per cup.  Infuse 3-5 mins. Best enjoyed as is.

Ingredients:  Black Tea.

For blending

On its own the smokiness is overpowering, but what I really love is adding just a little pinch to my favourite Yunnan - it gives a wonderful depth and richness.

I would be delighted to

I would be delighted to tell you what I think of your Lapsang Souchong. However, I have not received it, despite having received a text confirming its delivery. I have notified the Post Office.
If, by some happy chance, your parcel arrives back at Berry, would you be so good as to re-send it to me, please?
