How To: Blushing Berry G&Tea
Celebrate our 11 year birthday with our very own Berry Tea Shop cocktail, the Blushing Berry G&Tea. Crafted by Mills+Franks mixologist Dave Mills using our very own Blushing Beauty Tea and The Berry Tea Shop Raspberry Jam.
This cocktail was served during our recent 'Tea, Cocktails and Conversations with Jules Sebastian' where guests were also treated to a demonstration with Jules, Paulina and Dave to learn the tips and tricks of how to recreate the cocktail at home. THE BLUSHING BERRY G&TEA
RECIPE FOR ONE
60ml The Berry Tea Shop Blushing Beauty Tea Concentrate
30ml Tara Distillery Gin
15ml The Berry Tea Shop Strawberry Jam Syrup
15ml Lemon Juice
Tea Concentrate (1 Litre Batch) – Brew one cup of Blushing Beauty Tea with 1 litre of boiling water. Let this steep for 2-3 hours or until the tea is cold, preferably in an air tight container. Strain into a container and store refrigerated until use.
To make the strawberry jam into a syrup add a bit of hot water and mix until you get a syrup consistency.
Stir all ingredients well and pour over a glass of ice. Garnish with Blushing Beauty dehydrated rose buds.
BATCHED SPIKED ICED TEA - SERVES 6
In a 1 litre jug filled with ice add all the following ingredients
360ml Blushing Beauty Tea Concentrate
180ml Tara Distillery Gin
90ml Strawberry Jam Syrup
90ml Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice
Stir all ingredients until mixed well. Serve chilled over ice and garnish with Blushing Beauty dehydrated rose
